Local author, Meghan M. Anderson, will be at the Maple Elementary at 10am on May 29th for a reading of her book, A Dog Named Bunny. All elementary students are invited to hear this rhyming story for young readers about a puppy whose parents decided to name her something a little different and special. As she grows up, she decides to change her name, but soon realizes she is lost in a sea of sameness. This helps her appreciate that her name sets her apart while still keeping her part of the pack. If you have any questions feel free to reach out the event coordinator Emily Catz.
Reminder that Friday, May 24, is the last day for students to turn in their library books.
